Extract from the land book. The company was gradually acquired in 1923, 1925 and 1926. It was nationalized, meaning the owners were expropriated in 1948, according to information from Reuben, what was registered on June 14, 1949.
On the left side of Preyer Street, the gray house was the family home, which was later incorporated into the factory. In the neighboring building, with a white pediment, 38-40 Preyer Street, was the Ehrlich & Auscher cotton weaving mill. On the other side of the street, where the "Noblesse" jewelry store is now located, was the grocery store founded in 1903 by Mór and Gizela, b. Ehrlich, Auscher, Reuben Auscher's grandparents.

Ernest Auscher was tried and convicted in the trial at the Timişoara Military Tribunal, on December 24, 1953. It was one of the trials of the Zionists, considered „enemies of the people” and „tools of capitalist imperialism”, Documentation at the Memorial to the Victims of Communism and the Resistance in Sighet.
