The plaque commemorates Amália Freund, who donated the value of half the land on Splaiul Kunz in memory of her husband Lipót Freund and as a token of gratitude to Bernát Deutsch, president of the Fabric Jewish community, who worked hard to build the synagogue.
The plaque was placed in 2010 on a wall in the courtyard of the Community House, the entrance from Mărăşeşti Street no. 10.

The eternal gratitude of the Israeli status quo community in Fabric dedicates this commemorative plaque to the blessed name of the late Amália Freund, who, out of piety for her late husband Lipót Freund, donated half the value of the land to this temple, as well as to Mr. Bernát Deutsch, her former meritorious president, who enthusiastically initiated the construction of the temple and selflessly promoted it.
