Rabbi Dr. Jakob Singer died in 1939 and served as rabbi in this community since 1897, two years before the synagogue was built.
In memory of our rabbi Rav Jakob Singer which encouraged us to build this house of God where he served forty-three years with holiness and honor. May the memory of the Sage be blessed
